Top Chef: Sarah Copeland’s Addictive Blog
Friday, October 15, 2010
As a busy working mom with zillions of things going on at once, I spend most of my kids’ school hours tackling some project or other on the computer. But when I need a mental refresh, I love scouring fellow foodie sites for inspiration. Right now I’m completely hooked on Edible Living, the tantalizing, artfully laid out food blog by my former classmate and pal, Sarah Copeland.
This sweet and gorgeous chef, food writer, and gardener extraordinaire knows how to tell a story. Readers get the full flavor of Sarah’s culinary adventures, whether she’s sharing her gourmet wedding menu, writing a love letter to her favorite food (octopus!), sharing go-to cookbooks, or dishing on homemade chocolate pudding whipped up by her husband, András.

But there’s more than fun storytelling going on here. With several years under her belt as a recipe developer for the Food Network, Sarah has some serious expertise and good taste to share as well. We’re talking gorgeous photography, gardening tips, interviews with people like Susan Spungen (author of Eat, Pray, Love), and information about nonprofits working to battle hunger.
Right now this busy lady is looking forward to some big changes in her life – she’s writing a book about cooking for couples for Chronicle Books (due out in 2012) and expecting her first child to boot! My heartfelt congrats to this culinary superstar and future momma.
Now, check out her blog to get a sample of your newest reading addiction!
