So, you wanna have a party? Super, count me in! Here is everything you’ll need to get started with your planning. You add your sparkling personality, guest list and together we’ll make magic!
How will I (Beth Aldrich) join your party? Depending on my traveling and tour scheduled, there is a chance that I could be there in person, but if not, I can join you via SKYPE or GCHAT. We can figure that out well before your event.
Here is a grouping of pictures, my bio, the book cover and a few sample downloads that you can use for invitations, raffle tickets and more. Just remember that all of this information is trademarked and copyrighted and therefore can only be used in conjunction with events related to my book, etc.
Signature Plates: If you are hosting your book party before January 3, 2012, the book will not be physically available. However, the book is now available for pre-orders. Guests of your party would receive a signed book plate (insert) that they would place in their book once the book is delivered after January 3, 2012.
*The benefit of pre-orders is that your guests have a higher chance of winning more prizes in our book pre-order giveaway AND so do you! Just remember, to have your computer OUT and AVAILABLE for pre-orders during your party. Guests will save over 30% on the cover price of the book, if ordered before January 1, 2012–pre-order price of book is around $9.98 and each book purchased is an entry to the drawing. ALSO, your guests can be entered for an additional drawing by signing up for our FREE newsletter (click).
Prizes!! We will supply you with a one or two random food-inspired drawing prizes that you can use for your party. We’re not talking full sets of pots-and-pan here, but we do have some pretty cute items that your guest will love. EACH book pre-ordered at your party gets entered into YOUR drawing and you will select winners during the course of your event. *Note: a minimum of 25 book pre-orders will qualify you for your complimentary raffle prizes for your party
FOOD and DRINK!! Like any helpful hostess, we’d like you to supply light refreshments, however, with at least 2 weeks notice, we will ship you a box of sweets of some kind for your event (cookies, cupcakes,etc.), depending on the amount of guests, etc. We will negotiate that with you to best suit the rest of your refreshments planned!
WIIFM?: Most moms do so much for so many other people, but really, What’s in it for you? Well, you don’t have to ask, we’ll tell you! First, you have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping moms everywhere learn how to conduct a love affair with food and still look fabulous and two, we’ve got a fantabulous goodie bag, just for you! Once your party is complete, just contact us (and please send pics so we can share the love with our community) and we’ll send your goodies via Priority US Mail. *Note: to qualify for this prize, your party must have a minimum of 10 book pre-orders.
