This past weekend, the National Restaurant Association show went down at McCormick Place in Chicago, with 1,800 exhibitors descending on the convention center to hawk their goods. Food-obsessing blogger that I am, you know I had to share the scoop on all the best products that were shown for moms. This week I’ll be doing a special daily post on a few of the best finds from around the show.
Today, I present my top pick for little kids’ juice. First Juice makes four tasty juice flavors, each made from organic fruits and veggies. They’re especially for toddlers, though kids of any age and adults also like ‘em—trust me. Why try?

You can find First Juice products at stores like Whole Foods and Babies R Us
- First Juice has no added sugar, and a lot less natural sugar than most similar juices on the market.
- Each flavor is a combo of one main fruit and veggie, like apple and carrot, and blueberry and purple carrot—so they’ve got a nice dose of sweetness without being OTT.
- You can choose from either single-serving, 8-ounce bottles, which feature a no-spill sippy top, or a 32-ouncers for home use—both are BPA-free and recyclable.
The whole point is to help infants and toddlers develop healthy palettes, keeping their taste buds from getting hooked on excess sugar at an early age, as so many other juices do. That coupled with the use of organic ingredients and BPA-free containers makes First Juice a Best in Show in my book!
